This season, shoes design moved into another dimension: structured heels, unusual shapes, suede, leather, lace and lots of imagination.

More and more, shoes became an art form and emerged from couture labs into the streets.

Jean Charles de Castelbajac surprised me this season with a gorgeous collection inspired by the ’70’s smiley logo. The collection is full of joy and vitality and every piece is very well put together.

Reds, yellows, greens… bold shoulders, a little bit of cartoon print on jackets together with a japanese feel.

Simply, simply beautifull. Who said fashion is not about having fun?
