Leftover bags

Eco-friendy trend is getting more and more intrusive these days. “I’m not a plastic bag” launched the eco bag trend in the entire world and it appears to never end.

Well i agreed to that initiative but I think is getting to a point where it becomes to much. Leftover bags are some other sort of eco-friendly bags. One piece cost 38$, but I wouldn’t spent on it not even 1$. The design is pretty funny, but let’s get serious now… another eco bags? I’m getting tired of it already.

You wouldn’t even give a $1 for a nice reusable bag like this? Maybe you already have a reusable bag that you take to the store? Too many reusable bags can become excessive, and in a way, that is what leftoverbags.com is trying to fight.

But anyway… I guess you are looking at this from a “fashion” perspective and not as these bags were intended - as a sustainable plastic/paper alternatives. And that’s OK since this is a fashion blog. But I think it’s good to have alternatives to other eco-bags, such as the “I’m not a plastic bag” bags you mentioned.

You’re right Jon, I was looking at this strictly from a fashion perspective. And yes is good to have alternatives, but from my point of view I feel the need to see more in this area.

Other shapes maybe, other colours or some other prints or texture. Something to make the difference between these bags. When many companies are trying to launch eco-bags, the market become full of these products, and you need some element (besides the fabric and the concept)that could make a statement.

Didn’t want to offend you in any way. Is just my opinion and maybe you will find it usefull in a way. I hope you understand better now what I meant to say.
