Sainsbury launch Recycled Plastic Collection

Eco-friendly products are more and more desired by people all over the world. If we have eco-friendly cars or bags, we should have eco-friendly clothes too.

Sainsbury is ready to launch later this year an entire collection of clothes made of recycled plastic bottles and packaging.

Sainsbury’s is also sponsoring a show, at London College of Fashion, of futuristic textiles, including a ‘disappearing’ dress of biodegradable material.

Invisibile outfits

I told you before that art and fashion goes very well together and at some point they fusion. Desiree Palmen took some incredible photos of of scenes consisting of people in “invisible outfits”.

People always react strongly when they see my work. They have mixed reactions – confusion, surprise and interest. Mostly people like the idea. I’m responding to a wish to disappear. I wanted to make a suit for the noncriminal citizen whose house is being watched 24 hours a day by street cameras.

The future of women’s accesories

It’s a new concept from Nokia and the words have no place here. Just watch the movie and you’ll see it for yourself. Just a little hint: these gadgets.. make them in more available colours… I’m not such a big fan of green accesories.
