This morning while I was drinking my coffee, I found a very well done photoshoot in Harpers Bazaar.
Jessica Biel was surprised in action while she hits the dance floor with 5 of fashion’s favourite designers.
I think this is one of the best photoshooting I’ve seen lately. Congrats Harpers Bazaar for such a wonderfull pictures.
Perfecting the paso doble: Biel and Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa.

Jessica Biel and Diane von Furstenberg master the Charleston.

The actress and Zac Posen waltz the night away.

Next season, automn-winter 2008/2009, lace is the next best thing. And why shouldn’t be due to the fact that lace is so feminine and glamourous to wear especially in the evening.
I love black lace on tops and in combination with gold satin or silk.
Balmain & Derek Lam

Dolce&Gabbana and Phi

McQueen & Prada

I believe Ricardo Tisci is the most talented young designer who works for such an amazing top design house like Givenchy.
His theme for spirng-summer couture collection 2008 was “Gothic Ballerina”, but I might add that applies only for the first part of the show. The second part of the runway presentation resembled more with Edgar Degas’s sculpture “The little dancing girl” due to the inocent look of the models and the fine cut of the outfits.
I love his collection, and I predict an up and raising carrier.

Of course many celebrities attented the event showing their long and beautifull gowns. To make it short I loved the elegance inspired by Victoria Beckham’s outfit, the sensuality of Gisele and the latin glamourous touch signed Eva Longoria.

Emma Hack is an artist who likes to paint her models to mach the wallpapers she creates. I find her work very inspiring and meticulous due to the fact that she spends no less than 19 hours copying the design from the wall-covering onto the naked women.
I think is fascinating as once more art and fashion go together.

Back to black… this is the title I would give to Elie Saab collection for fall-winter 2008-2009. Inspired by Mondrian’s creations, Elie Saab presented long gowns, very versatile and feminine, mid-leght dresses with a touch of eightees and a mix of primary colours: red, black and white.
Elie Saab is my favourite designer as you well know by now, so I couldn’t miss his collection presented in Paris.

Oscars Gala 2008, was as I expected, a parade of glamourous dresses created especially for the evening by designers such as John Galliano or Elie Saab.
I made a selection of best dressed celebrities at the ceremony, and I have to mention Beyonce weared finnaly a dress that suited her silhouette.

Althought Louise Goldin is at her second runway show, she shows an amazing artistic sense for fashion and she has a very well established vision towards it.
Her collection presented in London yesterday, demonstrated an unique mix of fabrics, patterns and sweaters with sci-fi trend.
She even said that what ispires her at the moment is: “Eskimos, the Arctic and Mars.” No wonder the presence of shoulder armor like sweaters mixed with tight suits.
I think her outfits are really unique, and personally I love them very much. Louise could say something into the fashion world, as part of the new emerging designers.

I recently discovered Eley Kishimoto creations so I became more interested about it. Eley Kishimoto presented the fall-winter 2008 collection in London, and it was a success.
Very colourfull pieces, yellow, red, violet, fluid dresses, multiple scarfs and a special model of shoes witch I think is quite unique.
Let’s see how the brand will evolve, because i certainly predict a bright future.
