This morning while I was drinking my coffee, I found a very well done photoshoot in Harpers Bazaar.

Jessica Biel was surprised in action while she hits the dance floor with 5 of fashion’s favourite designers.

I think this is one of the best photoshooting I’ve seen lately. Congrats Harpers Bazaar for such a wonderfull pictures.

Perfecting the paso doble: Biel and Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa.

For his fall winter 2008/2009 collection, Alexander McQueen imagined an impressive show, with glamour jewelries and astonishing outfits.

After a trip to India, the designer worked like a fiend for months in his studio, with images of Queen Victoria, the Duke of Wellington, and the Indian Empire running through his mind.

And it’s a ready to wear collection… simply impressive!

For more than three decades Vivienne Westwood has forged her way into the hearts, minds and purses of fashionistas across the globe. Now she has found a place in melissa’s winter ‘08 collection.

Westwood has created two models through her Anglomania brand exclusively for Melissa. Westwood’s classic Mary Jane originally made out of leather and launched in her winter ‘00 collection ‘Summertime’ has been re-birthed in plastic. In addition, as Westwood lends her Anglomania design to melissa … melissa returns in kind with Westwood doing her own take on the cult melissa ‘ultragirl’ slipper.

”The most amazing thing about this partnership was to be able to create modern products, with very high quality, for affordable prices

For the june issue of Interview Magazine, Marc Jacobs attended a very unusual photoshoot. In other words Marc Jacobs appeared on the cover of the magazine wearing fake eyelashes, white make-up, red hair and Louis Vuitton shoes created especially for the designer.

I mean OMG… this is quite a reinterpretation of Andy Warhol’s image. The photo will be printed on t-shirts and bags that will be sold at Marc Jacobs boutique in New York at a price ranged from 15 to 35$.

Let’s hope not to get hurt, but if it happends now we know the trick. Very chic!

Mandalay and Sky Dresses at Zeny’s Boutique

I absolutely love gorgeous evening dresses, and who doesn’t? This summer I have many important events I have to attend and that’s why I need the perfect dresses to match.

Fortunately I discovered Zeny’s Boutique, a place where I can find all I need for parties, red carpet events, fashion shows or movie premieres. Zeny’s Boutique is a very chic store, and the best part is that I can buy online.

Mandalay dresses at Zeny’s Boutique… woow these are some gorgeous gowns, embelished with crystals and special fabrics that looks simply stunning. I love the brown cocktail dress and the white one: the bust line and straps of the dress are lined with stunning stones. Making the dress extra unique is the V shape the straps make on the back of the dress. Also the flower lace dress is amazing, so sexy and romantic.

And what about “the little black dress”? You can find several models that looks and feels amazing on the skin.

Besides Mandalay dresses, you can also find at Zeny’s Boutique, Sky dresses. This season a big trend in fashion are maxi dresses. I saw maxi dresses in fashion shows or weared by movie stars. So… you should buy at least one model. And Sky offers you the opportunity to choose from a wide range of gorgeous models. In bright colours, red or electric blue or black, white and green… maxi dresses from Sky are very elegant and modern.

And of course for the evening or for a party in the club, you can easily fall in love with these mini dresses from Sky.

Embracing lace

Posted By: admin  //  Category: Fashion designers, Fashion events, Fashion trend

Next season, automn-winter 2008/2009, lace is the next best thing. And why shouldn’t be due to the fact that lace is so feminine and glamourous to wear especially in the evening.

I love black lace on tops and in combination with gold satin or silk.

Marina Dempster - art shoe

Posted By: admin  //  Category: Fashion Art, Fashion accesories, Fashion designers, Focus: shoes

Marina Dempster was born in Mexico, to British and French parents and is based in Toronto, Canada. She sees her art as contemporary translation of the pre-Columbian Huichol art of “transformational yarn painting”. Preparing a form with a new skin of bees’ wax and pine-resin (traditionally called cera de campeche), which is then meticulously embedded with yarns or beads with the pressure of the fingertips and other improvised tools.

The result is a breath taking shoe, among others, witch can be viewed from two perspectives: a piece of art and an amazing artistic shoe.
