Back to black… this is the title I would give to Elie Saab collection for fall-winter 2008-2009. Inspired by Mondrian’s creations, Elie Saab presented long gowns, very versatile and feminine, mid-leght dresses with a touch of eightees and a mix of primary colours: red, black and white.

Elie Saab is my favourite designer as you well know by now, so I couldn’t miss his collection presented in Paris.

After a trip to India, Alexander McQueen remained with the image of the beautiful traditional costumes in mind.

Inspired by Queen Victoria, the Duke of Wellington and the Indian Empire, McQueen created an amazing collection for fall-winter 2008-2009. I love the line, the drapes and the feeling of couture mixed with pret-a-porter look.
