It’s a new concept from Nokia and the words have no place here. Just watch the movie and you’ll see it for yourself. Just a little hint: these gadgets.. make them in more available colours… I’m not such a big fan of green accesories.

Animal print and exotic totes are in trend this spring. Salvatore Ferragamo catches very well this trend in a Fiera Carnival Tote with floral prints and a beautifull styled tiger.
I love the mix of colours, pink, chocolate and light brown and the complementary accesories such as the wallet. Very stylish and trendy. 1100$ spent with a reason.

Oscars Gala 2008, was as I expected, a parade of glamourous dresses created especially for the evening by designers such as John Galliano or Elie Saab.
I made a selection of best dressed celebrities at the ceremony, and I have to mention Beyonce weared finnaly a dress that suited her silhouette.

Ruffles are back this season, in a multitude of colours and textures. Donna Karan (picture 1) goes for Ruffled Lace Cardigan, Rachel Roy (picture 2) choosed grey silk, Boudicca (picture 3) spoted a Ruffled-Front Shirt made of pink silk, Etro (picture 4) propose silver silk and V-neck and Ralph Lauren (picture 5) choosed a lagoon blue top with ruffles mixed with white pants.
Ruffles gives enough elegance, a touch of romance and not to mention multiple choices to combine. I like Ralph Lauren’s top, due to it’s blue marine colour, perfect to be weared on a riviera.

The magnificent designer Manolo Blahnik, launched his spring 2008 collection, focusing on high heels shoes in bright colours, from green, red, orange to electric blue and plenty of prints (animal print is back this season).
Satin for evening and patent leather for daytime, you have many options to chose from. You can find Manolo’s collection at Neiman Marcus.

Since 1895, Henri Bendel brand is sinonim with beautifull and original pieces of jewelry, small fancy leather accesories and tons of chic and trendy models.
Henri Bendel’s new collection for 2008, focuses on urban shaped pendants made for virtuos fashionistas, and bright couloured bags bringing the summer closer and closer.
I love especially the pendant… very urban and very appropiate to make a statement this season. Goes perfectly with a large printed t-shirt, a pair of jeans and high heels.

Oh well what can I say… from the “no comment” category, I’ll present the new range of cosmetics entitled LOOKING GOOD FOR JESUS.
At the beginning I thought it’s about a sectant group or something, but in fact it’s a product range, totally uninspired. They have bath gel, lipstick, purse coins and other beauty products, all gather under the same slogan.
I wouldn’t buy them even if I need a cosmetic product a.s.a.p and I had nowhere to shop from. Simply horrible but receives an A for the ideea.

From the same category, but a little bit more acceptable, I found a magical soap that “Wash away your sins“. Really funny range of soaps. Kills sins on contact. Not to mention is heavenly scented.
Oh but don’t let me stop here. There is also a range of beauty products for the body, named Dirty Girl, probably for those girls who are feeling dirty or too clean. And speaking of cleaning I discovered two soaps: Virgin Soap and Slut Soap. I wonder how you’ll share those two.
Boss Lady is probably made for… in fact I don’t even want to think what for, and Cute as Hell range of products would be probably a perfect gift for a bad bad girlfriend. On Valentine’s? Maybe not… you just may want to skip it if you care about your life.

Althought Louise Goldin is at her second runway show, she shows an amazing artistic sense for fashion and she has a very well established vision towards it.
Her collection presented in London yesterday, demonstrated an unique mix of fabrics, patterns and sweaters with sci-fi trend.
She even said that what ispires her at the moment is: “Eskimos, the Arctic and Mars.” No wonder the presence of shoulder armor like sweaters mixed with tight suits.
I think her outfits are really unique, and personally I love them very much. Louise could say something into the fashion world, as part of the new emerging designers.

I recently discovered Eley Kishimoto creations so I became more interested about it. Eley Kishimoto presented the fall-winter 2008 collection in London, and it was a success.
Very colourfull pieces, yellow, red, violet, fluid dresses, multiple scarfs and a special model of shoes witch I think is quite unique.
Let’s see how the brand will evolve, because i certainly predict a bright future.

As I mentioned before Couture Fashion Show from New York gather the most talented designers all over the world.
I was very surprised to find out about Haya Al Houti a proeminent designer from Kuwait, recognized for her beautiful bridal and evening gowns.
Haya al Houti bridal dresses are simply amazing. I’ve seen many bridal gowns recently, but Haya al Houti creations are simply stunning. Her creations are breathtaking combinations of the finest satins, sliks, chiffon, organza, tull and lace with rich beading and jeweled embellishments.
Not to mention her clientele includes an array of Saudi Arabian and Qatarian princesses as well as prestigious dignitaries, socialites and VIPs throughout the Middle East.
This is a perfect example of a mix between two different cultures, the middle east one and the occidental one, bond together by fashion.
